Lyne Ouellet

Lyne is currently a research coordinator at St. Thomas University, as well as a PhD student at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. Having worked for many years as an inpatient physiotherapist in several provinces, Lyne has shifted her advocacy work with older adults from personal, clinical settings to a broader scale. Those years of experience remain with her, having seen how health events can have an impact in so many ways for a variety of people. She has turned to working in policy related to older aging strategies, as well as applied programming that hopes to not only assist older adults, but all at-risk people who are disconnected from accessing resources that can help them live happy, healthy lives.

Although she is a little busy currently with school and work, in her free time she can be seen walking her great pup, Pepper, or cheering on her kids at their activities. She gets out to enjoy the outdoors with her family in any way she can.
