March 2021—This talk will give a high-level overview of a researcher’s journey in transforming the research outcomes of the CARE-RATE project into a licence-ready format that is accessible by industry.  Topics will include development of multi-institution IP sharing, translation of knowledge between disciplines and sectors, and obtaining NSERC funding to complete a market assessment. The talk will conclude with a discussion of what might be done to improve these types of activities.
