Every second year, the NBIF has been proud to award 3 New Brunswick researchers with the Research Innovation Awards at the R3 Gala.

CABHI Senior’s Advisory Panel provides input into refinement of CABHI-funded solutions

The CABHI Senior’s Advisor Panel  is a consumer panel comprised of older adults and caregivers providing feedback to CABHI management on strategic and operational activities. From the perspective of their lived experience, the panel also provides input to innovators to ensure that their solutions are truly solving real world ‘problems’. 

CABHI Spark Project: Transforming a memory program for seniors into an online tool

Transforming a clinically validated intervention into an e-learning tool takes a lot of work. Just ask Cindy Plunkett, a project manager for CABHI’s e-Learning and Educational Technologies division. Cindy and her team work in-house at CABHI to develop and leverage e-learning opportunities for CABHI-supported projects.

Recipients of the 1st New Brunswick Senior’s Care-Strategic Innovation Fund (SC-SIF) announced

Fredericton, NB – November 30, 2017 –  Four New Brunswick-based teams of health researchers and private sector partners have been allocated more than CA$800,000 in funding to support the development and testing of their innovative solutions in brain health for seniors for completion within 18 months. The funding is being provided through the Senior’s Care-Strategic Innovation Fund — a joint partnership program between the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI) and the New Brunswick Health Research Foundation (NBHRF).
